A two-phase refurbishment delivered while the practice stayed in occupation.

The canteen and dining area

EY’s Cork office at City Quarter, Lapps Quay was refurbished in two phases while the practice remained in occupation on the floor throughout.

With a short programme, a client still in the building and a long distance from the Duleek factory, it was critical that everything worked and fitted first time. Pre-constructing in the factory before disassembly and site fitting in Cork was the key to the project’s success.

The floor took in a large canteen and dining area, large oak ceiling rafts, solid hardwood banquette seating and framing, an array of different coloured paint and textile finishes, and a reception desk fully clad in solid surface with the EY logo built in and backlit.
